J93-3 is another fourth generation Hulthemia, its blotch lightens considerably during the heat of summer. Here it is seen in the fall.  The blotch, 
rather than having a definite demarcation of its edge, gradually blends in with the petal color.  It is from a cross of { [('Orangeade' X 'Abraham Darby') 
X 'Midnight Blue'] X ( 'Midnight Blue' X 'Baby Love')} X < {'Halo Today' X ['Geisha' X ('Tobo' X 'Singin' in the Rain')]}X 'Tiggle'>.

 

This seedling is quite floriferous and has shown that it is possible to "lose" most of the Hulthemia prickles (thorns) as seen below.
